McNamara Receives Prestigious Nomination

Congratulations to VDP Senior Company Captain Samantha McNamara. She has been selected as a Federation of Dance Competitions ICON Dancer! From the thousands of dancers across the country, Sam was one of 13 dancers nominated to receive this honor, and the only one from Minnesota!
The FDC ICON winner was selected by the public voting for their favorite dancer. 1117 of Samantha's supporters stepped up to give her this title.

Dance With Me Recital 2012
Each June, our dancers perform in our annual dance extravaganza held at Bloomington Jefferson Sr. High. Our recital features beautiful costumes and scenery, along with creative stage lighting, to showcase your children and their wonderful talents. It is a performance that you will not want to miss!!
This year's shows will be held on Saturday, June 9 at 2:00 & 7:00 at the Bloomington Jefferson Senior High. Our dancers perform for two enthusiastic audiences of over 900 people each show!! Tickets are $12/each and are available by contacting the studio at (952) 835 7497.
Additionally, our fabulously talented Competition Solos, Duets, and Small Groups will be showcased in their own show "Singular Sensations" on Saturday, June 9 at 5:00pm. This awesome show is our top dancer's gift to their family, friends, and all VDP fans so there is no charge to you! Come and enjoy this singular spectacular!

Good luck to VDP Alumni Laura Osnes as she opens her 4th show on Broadway. Laura is currently playing "Bonnie" in "Bonnie & Clyde" at the Schoenfeld Theater in NYC.

This week, we caught up with former VDP dancer Laura Osnes. Laura competed with the VDP Competition Teams. Today, Laura is starring as Bonnie in Broadway’s new musical Bonnie & Clyde at the Schoenfeld Theater, New York, New York.
